It’s been awhile

Hmmm, right now I’m going where did summer go? Whew that went fast! I did create somewhat over the summer, but obviously not as much as I should have. I’m really trying to get a routine for the attic, and also reach 75% of the goals that I set for the attic in 2025. Believe it or not, I’ve reached around 50% of them so far. Building up the attic and putting it out there to have consistent customer engagement is a lot of energy. Energy that I need to take an Underdog Energy Pill for (if you grew up in the 70’s you know who Underdog is).

At any rate, I enjoyed summer having Tuesdays with The Littles. We had our adventures with Desi the Magic Buick. I’ve come to realize that those Tuesdays filled my heart with joy, and, therefore, summers will be low production out of the attic and enjoy without feeling guilt The Littles while they’re still little (The Littles also include my four-legged, hairy ones too). So low production summers means looking into the future in early spring and getting fall production going. Oh my! I used to be good at planning things and being more organized. I fell off that limb when the kids flew the coop and I lost my job in 2023. I guess time to pick myself up off the ground and start building the nest of planning and organization. That will be in the 2026 goals. What’s a few more months of putting it off and scrambling in creating?

I am in the baby planning stage of holding crochet classes locally, which bring excitement and discovery. Discovery you ask? Yes, discovery of who wants to learn the art of crochet. Discovery of others who get excited over yarns, hooks, patterns, and what can be created with our hands and these tools. Excitement of sharing my knowledge of crochet and gaining new knowledge from others. I get uplifted from others excitement to create and discover.

Into fall we go. Three of the five Littles are in school now. Granny is buckling down in the attic and foreseeing more creating being down. I’m in talks to launch crocheting classes, which gets a checkmark for 2025 goals. I’m going to get my energy from those of you excited to use your superpower and turn string into things.
